My name is Lieni Makihele, and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Tonga. After a long five years, my parents finally filed the necessary papers to immigrate legally to the United States. Looking back, I now understand the immense challenges they faced in seeking a new life for us. Arriving in a new country has provided me the freedom to flourish and become who God has truly wanted me to be. Today, I proudly embrace my roles as a wife to my husband Chad Makihele of 30yrs and a mother to our four wonderful boys. My passion for music has become a powerful outlet, allowing me to connect with the youth in my community and share the love of our savior Jesus Christ through outreach programs in youth football and at local churches. This journey has been transformative, showcasing the resilience and strength that comes with pursuing one's purpose in a land full of opportunities.
